Ordered an AFE Stage 2 CAI for 2017 3.5 EcoBoost. Anyone else have this on their truck and how is it?

I have a 2.7 eco. It's the same intake I love i did the BOV to atmosphere mod as well and it sounds nice. Can hear the turbos spool just a tad. And mileage stayed the same no real increase def no loss. And the butt dyno loves it

Its a great intake, have 2 or 3 friends that all use this on their 2.7's and they are very satisfied with it. Well done

Have it on mine and really like it. This combined with a tune and the spool sounds are loud!

Hhmmm, some say no difference in sound, some it does. At any rate, without a CAI figured in with a custom tune, the only thing you might get is some sound, unless the Egoboost is totally different from a 5.0. I'd like to hear some sound clips. If you really do hear the turbos, opposed to stock where you don't, I might be up for one.

I can get you some clips from a K&N filter with tune if ya want. It definitely is louder than stock box.

Edit: Could flash it to stock and show you the difference between tune/stock as well if ya want. With tune obviously even more noise because less eco more boost haha

That would be above and beyond, and very much appreciated. The sound I was asking about was the turbos spooling up. I know you get some "air" sound. My post wasn't very clear on that.

I'm running an MPT PRX now with Borla exhaust, and really, would like some turbo sound. Closer to a Wicked Wheel on the olde 7.3 would be great!

Sure I can get ya a clip of that, I imagine my sound is going to change quite a lot soon when I install the Magnaflow exhaust and American Racing downpipes.

I get you a clip now and then we can compare after I put the downpipes and exhaust on.

Great!! I guarantee you'll really hear the turbos with those downpipes!! Just had a single aftermarket on my 7.3, but WOW, you really heard it then.
