Default Front and rear facing cameras

I am looking for quality cameras and displays.

I have the 2016 V8 and I would like to be able to have the rear came come on automatically when I am in reverse.
I will have a shell on it so I can mount up high if I am able.

I'd also like a front facing camera that records and saves if I am in an accident.

Gee, narrowing it down, no?

I am all about the quality and saving a few dollars up front is not my goal.... hell, I just dropped what feels like a godawful amount of $$$$ on an awesome suspension lift, wheels and tires that I won't even seen until I get up to SoCal end of May.

Thanks for any suggestions.

If you have the money, I'd suggest buying a street guardian front facing camera. They have great day time video AND the best night recording I've seen. There are various cameras made by street guardian, so depends on what you're looking for, but something like the:

Is a good one.

Thank you.

I will pay for quality... they have some high end stuff and the goal is to purchase once and purchase right.

I will contact them to see what they suggest for my vehicle.

Things to think about are; do you need a screen? GPS? are you going to hard wire it? Do you need it to record while in park (car not running)? You'll find what you want, I'm sure of it.

I agree, those are definitely things to think about.... honestly, cars get damaged while parked here all the time..... lordy, I probably need 4 direction coverage and the ability to have enough memory to keep it logged....
I do not need gps or a screen display for the front but I definitely want to be able to see while backing up with a shell on it.
I got spoiled with that in the fire service....

The tuner I will probably end up buying has a display that a rear facing camera can be connected to.

I have research and figure it all out..... I only want to do it once and I want to do it right.
