The two choices that you are between are both of different designs. I've owned the folding panel style and while they work okay when closed when the bed is needed for something that won't allow the top to close those panels are very inconvenient. If you plan on hauling items in the truck that won't allow either cover to close, go with the X2.

Since I live in the woods down on the Texas Coast, the snow question\threads never apply.

But alas, I woke to this!
It's the Lomax, sold and labeled as WeatherTech. I love the finish on the panels. Very low profile too.

And it will likely never have snow on it again.

If you like the Lomax, take a look at the Undercover Ultra Flex, it looks similar.

I like the logo on the inside and I also like the mounting location of the cinch strap better on this Ford version compared to the X2. I was wondering if they change the location on the X4. From the sema video it looks like they aren't but that may not be the final product.

In case you haven't figured it out I'm also on the market for one!
The Revolver X2 is the same cover as the Rev based covers. All that is different is Bak Industries takes Ford's input on the cover and changes a few things for their "dealer" covers. Bak Industries is making the hard folding cover and hard roll-up for Ford Directly. While there aren't really many differences there are a few.
