Just wanted to share that the new iOS 9 shuts down any air communication with anything other than an Apple product. That means if you currently own or are considering purchasing a Lockpick Air product for your 8" MyFord Touch radio and own an iPhone you should consider either NOT upgrading your device to iOS 9 or not purchase the Lockpick Air. Android remains unaffected as usual...THANK YOU GOOGLE.

If you are unaware of what a Lockpick Air does for you here's a quick rundown:

• Allows data streaming wirelessly from your mobile device directly to your factory radio screen. This includes movies, Google Maps, internet, Pandora, etc... basically a mirror image of your phone screen goes to your radio
• Overrides features that are locked while the wheels are turning, such as address entry into GPS, DVD video, etc
• Allows control of your factory or aftermarket installed rear camera at any time. Turn it on while driving down the freeway if you want
• Additional rear camera input; allows you to install a camera on the back of a trailer and have the radio display the trailer camera instead of the tailgate camera when you go to reverse. You can also turn it on any time you like using the included remote control
• Add front camera and 2 side cameras; front cam can be auto-activated below 7 mph and side cams can be turn signal activated. Or turn them on anytime using remote control

Lot's of cool features but we want to get the word out to anyone who currently owns one or is considering purchasing so that the feature is not wasted.

Are there any plans to try and fix the mirroring for iOS 9?

A love my LockPick, I just wish I didn't have to 'enable' it every time I start the truck. I'm on iOS 9 and I knew they nerf'd it. I ended up getting a dedicated media player (Micca) and running .mp4's from there. Works great. I wish there was a digital imput (hdmi) as well, the RCA quality is a bit lacking.
