Just adding bags will level the ride when towing or hauling
The stability and handling is great with the RAS.Love it , and dont really want to get rid of it.
The problem is when putting anything above 650-700# payload load on , it squats enough to have oncoming traffic flash me because of projector headlight have now come up also. So my thoughts are to just bag it.

So you are saying with the RAS that with 650-700 lbs in the bed of the truck that the rear squats? What setting do you have it on....sounds like you are running it too loose...

Why the LoadLIFTER5000 instead of the RideControl?

I installed the loadlifters because they mount inside the axle instead of on the outside. I pull a 5th wheel and there is a hitch mount plate preventing bags from being mounted there. I also like the bump stop inside them, so if I dont add air to them they will not go flat. So far I have nothing but praise to say about them.

I thought RAS was to prevent sag when loaded?

You may not have it adjusted right.

Yes it does squat ,White disk setting.
will try the black but dont want a stiffer ride
I got it for the following
A system that instantly absorbs and dissipates load force energy resulting in significantly improved vehicle stability, balance, traction and control, with or without a load. Roadmaster Active Suspension adds critical strength to leaf springs but WILL NOT compromise ride quality. The patented design eliminates bottoming out, axle wrap and wheel hop, greatly improves road handling by reducing sway and dangerous body roll on cornering, and strengthens the rear leaf springs for towing or hauling maximum loads with maximum safety

I've read with the black disc it raises the rear a bit but doesn't sag at all unless loaded heavy, heavy.

People say that the ride doesn't suffer.

I've been kicking around these or airbags to put on the truck but haven't got around to it.
