I can't tell for everyone, so here is my opinion. When i've seen my F150 an the first time i thought to myself - what a great truck! But when i got upon the driver's seat i was about to buy the lights you have, the parking sonar, the rear view cam and any other possible stuff to prevent an accident. Because it felt like a REALLY BIG VEHICLE. I've used to drive a ford transit and a vw transporter before, so i'm used to vehicles of this size, but... i was really scared. It's size still scares me a lot, but don't tell anyone 
I'm a good driver, and that prevents me of installing any of listed devices. When i need to choose between a lexus and a mercedes it's very hard to fit my truck into that 'between' very often, but i keep telling to myself that i'm good with driving and i can handle that. I do handle it, but with the bumper lights it would be a lot easier. I think your installation is looking good, just a bit unusual, and it's very useful.
