Default Lift kit removal 2012

hey guys,

i'm looking at buying a 4 or 6 inch lift on my 4wd 2012 f150, but i don't know if you can go back to stock after the install because of the parts you're cutting on the truck. anyone have done a removal in the past? thanks

I don't believe all lifts require cutting, but even if you did have to cut a certain part...that part could be purchase and replaced. It would increase the cost tho for sure..

I know people that have done what you're asking in the past. It wasn't on an F150, but the process would be the same. They basically kept the cross member and had to have it welded in to go back to stock. If you do that, make sure you get a welder that knows what they're doing.

What Pugga said. All 4-6" suspension lift kits for a 4WD F150 require cutting of the rear cross member. Anything can be welded back on if you get the right guy with the right skill to do it!
