Leveling Kits FAQ

2007 F150 with 2.5” level and 35”s
So I recently installed a 2.5” rough county leveling kit on my truck and my upper control arms are close to my strut spring. When I hit a bump my upper control hits my spring and leaves cuts in the spring. I want to go up to a 3.5” leveling kit but I don’t know what to put to keep the upper control arms from hitting the spring any suggestions?

I'm running a 3 inch level and have the same issue. I would never go more than 3 inches on a level kit. I'm going to get me some after market upper control arms to correct the issue of hitting the spring and everything will be fine. I'm also running Cooper STT Pro 295/65/20 which is just over 35 inches x 11.6.

Anyone else other than Grey Ghost 59 look into the Eibach stage 1 setup? I appreciate your input Grey Ghost, and I have been looking into getting a set. What size tires you got on that thing?

Motofab leveling kit 2.5 front 1.5 rear
So I had a motofab leveling kit installed on my 2019 F-150. Got it back and feel a vibration in the steering wheel and in the front end and is felt from 0-30 mph approximately. I was wondering if anyone had a similar problem and if so any ideas what it could be. Any help is appreciated!

Looks like a lot of great information !!!
Whats the best way to increase safety & stability in the truck for towing and Increase breaking capacity as well..
I have a 14 F150 XLT 3.5l V6 supercrew and I tow a 10k camper in soft sand ...I was already going to change the bumper stops to Timbren but thinking I want a 2inch lift additional means of increasing my overall safety and stability ?

2016 f150
Hi, I read your info at the beginning, I appreciate it but I’m still just confused on what to do. I am purchasing a 2016 XLT FX4. I want to level the truck and get 33s with 20s but I want to make sure I’m ok with pulling my boat. The total weight of the boat is 3500lbs. I want to get the right level and be ok towing the boat. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.
