Default LineX color match quotes

Wondering what type of quotes you guys are getting for Linex? I have the 5.5' bed for comparison sake.

Depending who I call, I'm being quoted $800-1200 for the color match, different stores quote $300-500 up-charge to do the color match over the basic.

I have a silver truck, looking to do the color match to keep the temps down. My last truck had the black/premium, and while it looked great it got overly hot in 110+ degree temps.

Unfortunately, the local shop was $1200, if I'm willing to drive 120 miles (one way), the best price was $800 so far.

$1,200 seems really high! $800 is probably more in line. I would make sure they have an acceptable amount of experience doing color matches.

Their Xtra product does not contain Kevlar. They must be using an old email template.

Ask them if they are using Generation 1 Xtra (has Kevlar) or Generation 2 Xtra (does not have Kevlar). Gen 1 has not been produced in years, so if they have it, you don't want it because it's going to be too old. You want the upgraded Gen 2 Xtra anyway.

******************************

Carbine, I had mine done by Rhino-Liner, not Line-X (which I have in my Tacoma). Mine was done here in West Texas (yeah...I know...not Florida), 2016 Ruby Red Metallic short bed, for $645.

Just thought I'd throw out the price to ya for the sake of comparison.

Default Color Match Bed Liner

I spent the extra money and got the color match bed liner. As you can see my truck is white with gold and got the bed liner in gold. It looks awesome and has held up great. I always had Rhino liners in the past and while I was only disappointed in that my knees would get black when I crawled in the bed for something, I didn't like that it was so hard to find things in there when you drop them on the black surface with a cap on the truck. With the gold liner I can find anything. I also matched the bottom gold color for my cap as you can see it looks pretty good. I can post bed liner pics another day if anyone is interested. $749 here in Detroit.
