Default LEER 180 vs. A.R.E. MX - Your thoughts?

Looking to put one of these on my 2014 6.5' bed F150. Haven't seen any posts specific to this topic. I want the taller shell because I am going to install drawers and floor in the bed that will take up probably a good 10 inches.

Seems there are general comments about other models that give mixed reviews about LEER versus ARE. Maybe it boils down to the dealer and installation? I don't have a lot of confidence in the ARE dealers near me (north Atlanta) but there is a LEER dealer with a real shop nearby (Cumming, GA) that seems to know their stuff. Any guidance you can provide is most appreciated.

Default Leer

I have a LEER top on my 6.5' bed, but it is only on side of bed - not cab high. Can tell you the quality of top is A++, not spider cracking in fiberglass, and LEER matched my Ruby Red metallic. No dusty or water under cap in 3 yrs.

That looks really sweet! I need to find a ARE dealer near here that I can trust and look into this more deeply.

Default Rear view camera

I guess with that rear door you have to sacrifice the rear view camera?

I got it at J&N truck caps in East Stroudsburg PA, tell him Rick sent you. Great guy.
I moved my backup camera to the bumper but I also consider a surface mount down angle above the door. If I don't like the bumper that's what I'll do.

Nice! Very clean looking, nice lines. I like the window as well.
