Hypertech maxenergy set up
#11
FOR A 2007 F150 5.4 AUTO set the shift points at +300 rpm's on each one. Set the rev limiter to + 500 rpm's. The shift firmness is a yes/no question; this is a good feature it firms up the shifts & keeps the clutch pacs from slipping so much. This cuts down on wear & heat build up in the transmission. The speed limiter can be raised above 100mph for speed rated tires or lowered to govern the vehicle speed. The engine tuning is based on either regular fuel or premium. It will recalibrate the speedometer or odometer for different tire heights or gear ratio changes.

Bummer
Went out to program the truck with the settings Gary recommended and I got an error code 93: VIN incompatable; call tech support.
I did... Still waiting on a solution from "engineering"
I hope they get back to me soon, cause I'm taking the truck back into Ford monday for some work, and was hoping to put it back to stock before doing so.
We'll see what happens.

Seeing that the Max energy Hypertech is for engines 5.4 motors '04-'10 I'm assuming they may be the same settings he gave me for my '07.

Settings for the 2010 F150 5.4 : Select the octane, regular or premium , set the shift firmness at 50%, set the shift points at +300 on the 1-2, 2-3, & 3-4, leave 4-5 & 5-6 stock, set the rev limiter at +500. The speed limiter can be set down to govern between 25 & 80mph or up above 100 based on speed ratings of your tires. If you are running your stock thermostat you can set your cooling fan for the 195 setting. If you change your tire size or your gear ratio you can program in the new setting to correct your speedometer. Let me know if you have questions.
