How does everyone have their Maxenergy set up for the different programs as far as rev limiter, trans shifting, etc?

Nobody runs them cause from what seen they suck. Most people get the edge (or gryphon custom tuned) or the sct xcal custom tuned. I'd be surprised if two people had the maxenergy off the shelf bs.
but for basic setup i'd say don't raise the rev limiter more than a couple hundred rpm if any at all, you don't gain any power up there and its just hard on the engine. Raise the trans shift pressure a ways tho, some people go max but i'd go 50-75% increase. Shift point same as rev limiter, try not to mess with them much.

I'm not worried about land speed records and if they suck just wondering what some set up's people may be using to get decent MPG's and a little omph on take off.
Got the Hypertech from a fellow member here because I had one in my diesel and liked it a lot. Good safe tuner at least for a diesel.
This truck sucks on MPG's and power compared to my Duramax but the nice thing is it isnt a GM piece of crap. I know you cant compare the two but I'm use to all that power.
Thanks for the info regarding rev limit and shift pressure. Thats the info I was looking for. I'm not too familiar with this stuff.
The diesel tuner was simpler. Check DTC's, select a tune, tire size and download.

I know this thread is kind of old, but I have a 2012 Fx4 5.0L V8 and just recently programmed it with my Hypertech Max Energy module.
I called tech support for suggestions on settings. They guy I talked to was kind of a douche and said I just had to play with the settings until I found what I liked.
I was hoping you could hook me up with the best settings to maximize HP & Torque.
Thanks

Settings for the 2012 F150 5.0 : Select the octane, regular or premium , set the shift firmness at 50%, set the shift points at +300 on the 1-2, 2-3, & 3-4, leave 4-5 & 5-6 stock, set the rev limiter at +400. The speed limiter can be set down to govern between 25 & 80mph or up above 100 based on speed ratings of your tires. If you are running your stock thermostat you can set your cooling fan for the 195 setting. If you change your tire size or your gear ratio you can program in the new setting to correct your speedometer. Let me know if you have questions.
