Unhappy Help... with led audi headlights installation!!!

ok.... i bought 2 led light strips that u wire to any 12v, i want them to look light audi lights. they are water proof so i was going to put them outside the head light at the very top(looks very nice). so i tried to wire the leds to the front turn light.( the one next to the head light closest to the grill). And what i did was took the bulb out and took the end of the positive wire and put it under the the metal thing on the bulb and then took the negitive and put it under the other metal thing on the other side. so when i turned on the light it worked. so i took the other led light and did the same thing on the other side and tried to turn it on and both sides didnt work. So now the those lights dont work. and now the dash board light were out. i found out i blew a fuse!!! it was fuse #6... im really really mad so does any one want to help me on this and knows a better way to wire them!!!! please help

negative leads must be connected to ground i think. positive lead to positive terminal on the battery. did the lights come with some sort of wiring harness?
