backflip like a lot of other covers are easily broken into with a coat hanger. While nothing will stop an intruder if he/she really wants in, making it super easy is terrible. I will stick with my hardhat cover which is 100 percent more secure then the backflip (and looks better )

I bought the Extang Solid Fold Tonneau and used it for about 1 month. My brother offered me his Leer cap and I took it. The solid fold is really nice and the ad is correct, it will support your weight if it is stood on. Point being, it is solid and strong. Since I'm here, if anyone is interested, I'll give you a darn good deal. I'm in NY

I forgot about this thread. AS I said previously, most folding covers can be broken into with ease by using a coat hanger or a screwdrive the catch the latch cables.

Just yesterday I went to remove my cover (for another reason) and noticed the rail that sits on the tailgate had to bends in it from someone trying to pry up the cover. Pretty much in the same spot where other brands have those latch cables. Well, nice to say while the rail was slightly damaged, they did not get into the bed of my truck.

I know nothing will stop a determined thief but it sure stopped the ******* punks in the neighborhood.

I have a fold a cover g4 on my 2010 King Ranch. I love the cover for the looks and the durability. Is it 100% waterproof? No. I doubt any folding cover is. I have never had anything get really wet when stuff is stored in the bed. I like the idea of being able to open from the front or back. The locks seem pretty secure.

The price was pretty good at the time and the company was offering a 2year warranty.

Install was probably longer than others, but like other members said, it is pretty dummy proof if you follow the directions. It took a little while to perfectly line up the lock strikers so the cover was flush when closed.

I really like the Peragon cover, especially now that it is offered as a paint to match. I am not thrilled at having a black cove and tan bed caps; however, I have gotten used to it and it no longer bothers me.

Hope this insight on the fold a cover helps someone.

My new Extang Solid fold should be here Nov 4. Maybe the Snow will just broom off it. LOL
