Hello all,

I ordered the Morimoto headlights for my 2018 F-150. I emailed the company and they said that these headlights will pass inspection. Has anyone had luck with this? I’m from Delaware, but know that each state is different.

The main question - my truck has factory LED headlights. Since they are expensive (I’ve seen $2,900/pair from Ford!) and people like to upgrade to these from halogen, I was thinking about selling them since I won’t have a need for them. However, if the Morimoto lights do not pass inspection I would buy the cheapest halogen housings I could find for inspection.

Does anyone know if the halogen lights would function properly on a factory LED truck? I can’t imagine too many people have intentionally tried this.
