Question Front lower grille ?

Should there be a lower grille in the place circled below? See picture.
Looks like its too open and should have something blocking the wide opening.

Thanks

I don't think so...mine didn't. It's closed off there and had slots in it to accept a front license plate mounting bracket.

Same with mine
Just looks a little odd to have such a huge opening with an unrestricted view of the lower motor parts.

I have a different gen, 2013, and it also had the big gaping hole. I ordered a nice aftermarket lower off Amazon to fill the void and protect the inter cooler a little. Not sure if they are available for the current gen of trucks but you may want to do a Google search. ( lower grille for F150 )

I might have to do what Johnday did.... My inter-cooler active shutters got "dislodged" somehow. I caught it before hot weather, but still sucks something got in there.

I haven't had any problem with cooling as far as I can tell, just put that on last December, so haven't seen any warm weather with it yet. It's vented the whole width though, so I think I'll be fine.
