Default fog lights

i have noticed that on some 5.4s there bumper has fog lights...i was wondering if anyone knows where i can find one and is it easy to install or do i have to worry about airbag sensors?

The wiring would be pretty tuff but if you know what you are doing you canswap bumpers.

I dont know why the airbag sensors would affect anything???

It would be easier to wire in some after market lights, and they look pretty cool too.

well i guess the airbag sensors have nothing to do with it but i thought it would cause i heard that i could screw something up or set a bag off or something like that but idk
about the aftermarket ones what type were you thinging about (if any specific)

I can see how there might be sensors but i dont know for sure.

As far as aftermarket ones....i love my KC's. You might want to look at piaa because they are small in size, so you wont need a light bar or something to mount them on, and have good light output.

If you want the stock fog lights it will be tough to find them, I am looking, but look in salvage yards for the bumper and whole assy. Wire the fog lights through a relay and to either a mounted switch or to turn on when the lowbeams are on. Bad thing about wiring them to the low beams is they will only come on with the headlights. VERY easy to wire up. Just follow the diagram on the relay.

why do some of the trucks have the round fog lights, while others have the rectangular ones? i have seen both times on xlt's.

The round light are 06's new rectangular ones are 04-05 models.
