Flowmaster vs. Magnaflow

I can't do cats, mine are working. California says you cant replace them unless they're broken so no shop will do it. Flowmaster Super 10 anyone?
I'd still like to hear how it sounds though

thanks, i definately dont wanna go with a flowmaster, ive had magnaflow on my mind for a while now. im one of those guys who dont like to see the exhaust so thats why i want a turn down. i was thinking on making it and over the axle turn down instead of under the cab but not 100% on it yet. and do you recommend SISO or SIDO
and Tcorrs04 you have any pics. would consider bringing it out in front of the tire

Here are some cell phone pics. I tried taking video but couldnt get it to my pc from my phone due to file size.
Here are some okay sound clips from SIDO Magnaflow on a 5.4. I think mine sounds a bit deeper but pretty close.
Hope this helps

I had a Flowmaster cat-back series 50 on my then 07F150 w/5.4L, I had no complaints with this set-up.
I then put a Magnaflow on my Mustang V6, very impressive.
For this '10F150, I'm going to try out the Magnaflow.

I've had a magnaflow on my 04 for the past 6 years and love it! It's a 3" SISO with a 4" round x 14" long body (magnaflow part # 14419). In other words, a race muffler. Probably as loud as you could get for a magnaflow, which is not too loud. They're about $78 from EBay. My wife has not said a word about it being too loud in or out of the truck. Basically drive around without your muffler and that's what it will sound close to that. I'm running JBA headers through factory cats and Y pipe, then 3" to SISO and a side dump in front of RR wheel. Looks and sounds great.
I've been running magnaflow mufflers on all of my road race cars/ off road race trucks/ buggies for at least the last 15 years.
They just work better than flow master, period.

Been considering a flowmaster 10 series, but one the website they suggest them for off road because theyre so loud. My magnaflow isnt as loud as id like (would that have anytying to do with exhaust leaks?) Anyone know something with a similar tone to FM 10 series but not as loud? I dont mind tthe volume, cali does (1992 5.0, California resident)
A similar option that is not expensive is the Dynomax Bullet 12" muffler.
