Default Fire extinguisher mount.

Is anyone using this mount? I like to keep an extinguisher in the truck and this looks like a nice setup!

Decided to go this route instead! Right inside the tailgate for easy access and quick release for the “coolness” factor!

Nice idea. I want to mount my too but could never make up my mind where to place it. Right now, it's under my back seat but not secured down, I like the location you have.

Thanks Triton;
When I saw this mount on Amazon, I just had to have it. I really liked the "panic button" style release. I figured it's jest as easy to drop the gate to get to it as it would be to go digging around under the seat.

You have to order the clamps to secure the extinguisher to the mount separately. It can be mounted to a flat surface with bolts or clamped to a rollbar. I used nutserts and bolts and bolted it through the Bedrug. You could get band clamps cheaper at a hardware store but these are not the worm screw type.

Yikes. I mean, you could also just use a quick fist. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B007HOKW50/

But I do like yours in terms of "hey that's a neat button"

Yikes! I had thought about using quickfist clamps and mounting to one of my box link cleats, just hadn't felt the need/urge to drop the money on it. That clamp is pricey but definitely cool.
