I put Cooper Discoverer HT3's on mine and love the ride. I also pull a 5th wheel and put on Load Lifter 5000 airbags.

Scootdawg, what setup did you use for your 5th wheel hitch and do you have a short bed? Manual adjust slider with a Sidewinder pin on the RV? Soon I will be moving up from my 8k + Springdale TT. I don't want to lose the tailgate as it has the step gate/handle.
Loadlifter 5000's IMO are the best. I had Firestones and they always lost air.

Hello Meaz93, I have a Rockwood 8289WS 5ver and use the Reese 16K Hitch. On the 5th wheel is the Reese Sidewinder. The tailgate stays on and you can close it! The F150 is the shortbed. the sidewinder is great. You don't need a slider in the truck (even though the dealer put one in).

On my Class C I had the Firestones and replaced them twice in 1 year for leakage. So far the Loadlifters are great, they have an over sized bump stop inside of them. With the hitch plate they used to mount the hitch to the truckbed, these were my only option since they mount inside the frame to the axle.
