Extang Encore and Bull Rings/Cleats
I am looking to buy the Extang Encore folding top for my f-150 Crew with 6.5 foot bed. I am also considering buying Bull Rings that fit in the stake pockets. Photos on the Extang site looks like the cover will clear the pockets. My parts dealer said he does not think so.
There is a lot of negative reviews on the BakFlip so I would rather get the Encore.
Has anyone tried to put the rings on a 2011 or 2012 F-150 and the Encore cover?
I would think this setup would be fantastic allowing me to transport items laying on top of the cover.

Hi Pes949,
I called Bull Rings and they said it depends on the type of tonneau cover. The hard shell fiberglass covers will not work and any cover that use the stake hole pocket for the install will also not work (Encore I believe). The Bull Rings will work with BAK products though.
