Roush sounds great and i really like the dual tip on one side look. In fact I was going to go with roush originally but read a few times people not liking the in cab drone. Thats when i decided on borla s-type.

Roush customer service was a complete joke, the guy told me no one had ever complained about the drone drone before. I felt that since I paid $600 +/- for their system, I'd get at least an intelligent conversation from them. I even offered to take one of their "engineers" out for a ride, but they wouldn't do it. If all you want is noise, just remove the stock muffler, and leave the resonator on. The Roush "muffler" is nothing more than the stock resonator with 3" in and out. My mileage and power has suffered as well.
I wound up putting a Flowmaster muffler on down stream of the Roush "muffler". I think it's an 18" 3 chamber, series 40, I think. It still has some drone, but at least it's acceptable now. But still haven't regained the lost performance.
Am looking at other manufacturers SI/DO now, in 2.5" pipe.
I wouldn't recommend a Roush system to a dead armadillo. But, yeah, the tailpipes do look good.
Oh yeah, this was at their HQ in Livonia Michigan.

My experience was the drone was totally unbearable. I made one 400 mile round trip with it, and parked it until I had time to do something about it.

Thanks for all the help guys! I'm gonna take y'all's advice and stay away from flow master... I'm looking at the Solo Mach X and the Borla S-Type. Question: Can I go wrong with either? They both have great reviews and they both sound like what I'm looking for.

Have you checked the Stage 3 thread with sound clips? I thought the M400(?) was the best sounding, but that's just me.

exhaust
I'm running the afe 3" cat back single exit, and there's not much cabin drone at all while on the highway, and I've had it now for 30000 k with no rust, very easy installation. I highly recommend this exhaust.
