I have Roush exhaust on my 2011 Lariat 5.0. Love the sound but there is a bit of a drone inside the cab but nothing I can't handle. If I didn't want it loud or I didn't want to hear it then I would have stayed with the stock exhaust. Best part was it was a simple install even for me with my limited mechanical experience.

The Roush system is "performance" loud, which is exactly what I was looking for. There are several threads on here addressing the drone. I went ahead with it, thinking how bad could it be?
My truck is my office and it was bad enough it affected phone conversations, while on bluetooth. I also had reservations on the long term effects of potentially creating rattles in the cab.
If you want an exhaust that sounds bad-***, the Roush will fill the bill, but there is a drone in the cab that comes with it. The Hemlholtz resonator can and does completely mitigate it.
Fortunately, I can do that kind of work myself and it only cost about $75 in parts and an afternoon.
Yes, the system as delivered is very simple to install also.

Corsa DB exhaust, cat-back, siso, 3" stainless with 5" tip, great rumble when you accelerate, but little sound when cruising and absolutely no-drone. Very happy and it's not even broken in yet. Only complaint would be using factory mid-pipe section that isn't part of the system, but maybe that's why it has great flow/sound and just enough backpressure. All things being equal, have picked up 1.5 mpg increase and bit of throttle response gained through SOP dyno.

94 F150 5.0, Hooker super comps, Hooker header back 2 1/4". hooker mufflers ($207 complete). Headers went in without lifting, disconnecting or mods, perfect fit. Drivers side plug 6 is close, drivers side, back bolt was hard to start, one tube barely rests on trans case, other than that nice fit. Exhaust predesigned by hooker ($256 complete), mandrel bent, different story. Drivers side had to add 12" at flange, then do everything opposite the instructions and duals out the passenger side rear. Nice sound. I'd do it again.

Hey guys,

I have 2013 EcoBoost XLT model (canadian model). I have been looking for a few months now for exhaust sytems for this truck. I watched many clips on youtube, until someone I knew had one custom made with a flowmaster 10 series.

I went on www.jeggs.com and bought a flowmaster 10 series muffler - 69,99$,
Yesterday I took my stock OEM exhaust off (not very hard) Also took off the resonator. I drove down to my local muffler shop (not a performance shop) and asked them to weld a straight 3 inch pipe into my flowmaster muffler then 3 inch pipe out, all starting behind the cats.

Here is 2 videos I took today of the finished product. second video is just a view under my truck so you can see the new parts.

96 5.0 with single in dual out flowmaster super 10 2.25 inch pipes with 4 inch slant chrome tips. Nice deep loud growl. Wouldn't trade them for anything.
