Exhaust

I am the God of hellfire
I can comment on the noise levels of what I've run over the years..
Magnaflow dumped in front of rear axel passenger side on current ride is the loudest by far..
Next I think would be the Flowmaster on my first F150, duals out the back..
Then the Borla on my last F150..
All three trucks ran a 5.4L under the hood..

I have a 2008 with a 5.4L, my system consists of a flowmaster 40 series 3" inlet, dual 2.5" outlet with one outlet behind each rear wheel, 3.5" x 18" slash cut tips. System sounds mean! It's loud but not obnoxious. I love the way it sounds, but during trips and my highway commutes to work the interior resonance is starting to become very annoying. I've been running this same setup on my trucks since i've been able to drive, so I'm going to try out a 70 series muffler.
As far as performance goes: on my 97' F-150 4.6L when I installed this system it sounded great, but off the line it lost a little bit. Did not notice a change in mileage. On my 2008 with the 5.4L, it sounded great as expected. Noticed a slight performance improvement all around, and mileage may be slightly better as long as you drive normal.

Roush Performance
Last week i put Roush Performance on my 2013 fx2 6.2L. I couldn't be happier. I also heard from the aftermarket guy at my dealership that American Racing makes headers that supposably add around 40Hp and obviously adds to the acoustics of the exhaust. "out the door for $300" is what he quoted me.
