2 '11's. 5.0 SCrew Lariat and a 6.2 Platinum. Both have flowmaster 10 series, 1 in/out, resonator deleted, dumped on passenger side. The 5.0 is 3.5in pipe from the cat-back w/ 4 in rolled chrome tip and the 6.2 is a 4 in pipe cat-back to the same tip.

The pics are the 6.2, the 5.0 is the exact same.

Installed a Magnaflow 19054 system yesterday afternoon. As most have said, it took longer to get the old system off than it did to install the new one. I had to jack the back of the truck up by placing a jack under the frame on the passenger side to get enough clearance between the body and the axle to get the tailpipe over the axle and out the front. Didn't have to cut anything.
However, I am a little disappointed with how loud the new system is. After watching the video from American Trucks I thought it was going to be much quieter. They must have been comparing this system on a V6 to the factory setup because on a Coyote this thing is LOUD. I had a Magnaflow system on my V8 Sport Trac and the volume was perfect so I assumed this would be similar.
The factory system goes from 3" dia at the flange down to 2.5" from the flange through the resonator and into the muffler and then back up to 3" after the muffler. The factory muffler is at least twice as big as the Magnaflow and probably weighs more by itself than the entire new system. Hell, the factory resonator is nearly as big as the new muffler. The Magnaflow system is 3" from the flange to the muffler and then dual 2.375" pipes with 3.5" tips out the passenger side in front of the rear tire. Looks great but sounds like a flippin' NASCAR stock car.
I have a 12" long resonator ordered and plan to add it in front of the muffler. The resonator is a straight through 3" inlet/3" outlet so it may not make much difference.

Default Dual Exhaust

2010 Screw, Purchased SpinTech 5000 3"in / 2.5" dual out. Looking at rear end setup, didn't like what I saw for pipe routing on drivers side.
So I had the muffler shop run both pipes out the rear on passenger side. Unfortunately the lack of room dictated 21/4" pipes with turndowns.
Will post pictures when I get a chance.

The first small resonator I tried adding to the Magnaflow system didn't make much of a difference. This one from Upower did the trick. Much quieter at idle and lower cruising rpm's.

Thanks for the post. My muffler shop just asked if I'd like to delete my resonator while they were installing my new downpipes. I said yes and now my truck sounds like s***!

I have a 2018 3.5L EcoBoost.

I put the Borla ATAK system on my 2014 5.0 and it's amazing. Adding the CAI also helped a little when putting your foot down on the pedal as well but the system is great. Great sound and look. I always get the 5.0L stang guys asking what kind of system I have because mines usually louder than theirs. Takes a little modification to make it fit perfect but if you're a good with a wrench and a little mech savvy you'll be fine. Took me a couple hours to pull off the old one and put the new one on.

Note: I go fishing during the season and when I get up and leave at 4am in the morning on weekends I get kind very colourful texts from my neighbours for cutting into their weekend sleep. A little funny.

I installed a custom dual rear cat back exhaust on my 2018 2.7L Lariat this past weekend. Straight through muffler with no resonator. I know exhausts on Eco's cause some interesting debates. I got a fantastic deal on this exhaust so I decided it was well worth the gamble. I was so nervous to hear the first start up. I'm very happy with this sound. Not all will like this, but that's fine with me.

There is zero drone on the hwy and it sounds very nice from in the cabin. Here's a quick video I put together. There's dual rear outlet and a side exit version as well. It comes with chrome tips, but I opted for the black 4" tips for $20 more. Price is around $300!! PM me if you're interested in exact pricing. I'll get you in touch with the seller.
