So I'm considering get a power programmer for my 2003 f150 5.4 and I'm looking at the edge evolution cts "gryphon" from power hungry performance. I have zero experience with programmers or chips or tuners or anything like that I just want something to give my truck just a little more get up and go but I do not in any way wanna sacrifice my trucks reliability. I want something easy to use and of good quality. Are there any negatives to the cts and will I be sacrificing any reliability in my truck? Motor transmission rear end or anything? Also I have my rear two cat converters cut off will this programmer allow me to keep my "ses" light off?

Just a heads up, do a search on PHP befire buying from them. Bill there def knows his tunes but it might be quite a while before you actually receive it.

There are horror stories about how long people are waiting for their tunes from Power Hungry sometime months and no communication to speak of. I would either talk to Franchi Motorsports (above post) or talk to Mike at 5 Star both have great reviews and have been in the business quite a while. Franchi is on this forum all the time so you will never have a hardtime getting ahold of them. Good luck

Go with MPT (more power tuning) I did and they are great!

I'm not sure. I'd check VMP or troyer maybe they do edge. I know 5 star and MPT are SCT but I'm not sure about VMP or Troyer

Are the generic basic tunes that come on the edge cts any good at all? I looked at sct tuners but if I was gonna get one id want the tsx and it is like $300 more than the edge. That's a little to steep for me.

I just have the sf3 and it's great. Also the live wire and itsx are good
