Brand doesn't matter to me really I just want it to be dash mounted and I'd prefer touch screen but doesn't have to be so long as its dash mounted. Also I want simple to use as well because I have zero experience with programmers or tuners.

Ive got the Edge CS in my truck and love it. Have you added any other mods to your truck? I bought my CS locally and put it in and it was nice. I've now got CAI, exhaust, UDP, and just put on bigger tires. I had PHP do a custom tune and it took a couple months. I know lately they've had some family issues going on which is the reason for the delay. If you don't have any add ons then there really is no need for a custom tune. I like that my CS stays plugged in and gives me readout on up to 8 different items (tranny temp, coolant temp, TPS, etc).

I have dual exhaust on my truck. I thought about a cai, but I live and work on a farm so I drive in alot of dusty conditions and I'm not sure if a cai is a good idea or not.

I have had the Edge Evolution installed on my truck since 2008 and have had no problems purchased at auto anything delivered same week

The stock filter is one of the best for filtration. Try doing the Gotts mod to improve it a little.
PHP is the only licensed dealer for custom tuning Edge products. Bill use to work for Edge and still works closely with them, that's why he is the exclusive custom tuner. All the tunes for the mono chrome, CS, and CTS are the same and can all do custom tuning the same. A custom tune even on a totally stock truck will make a difference over the canned tunes. The display is really the only variance so pick the one that is to your liking and price range. Rest assured PHP and Edge are some of the best combos on the programmer market for these trucks. SCT is the only one up there in the running with them.

I looked at the gotts mod a few months ago but I was afraid to try it as I didn't wanna mess something up cause I'm not sure I'm skilled and capable enough.
