Haven't done it yet but may try to do this today.
Edit: Got it done ! However I wasn't able to release the metal connector out of the plastic plug. After stripping back enough of the black wrap/tape I just cut the Blue Wire/Grey Stripe. There is enough wire it could be soldered back together and heat shrink sleeved. NO MORE CHIME !

For example the turnsignal "clicks" come from that speaker ( no clicks ). Also the other chime notifications such as low fuel etc were nice to have (gone).

I tried this today. It does keep the bell from dinging when the door is opened with the key in the ignition and when the door is open with the key in the run position. However, the thing still dings in the accessory position, which is where I would most want it not to. Anyone know how to stop that?
I have the same problem in my 13 XLT. Any updates?

If you guy's cut a wire are you sure it was the right one ? I still have audible turn signals. Not sure about low fuel warning but will find out in a couple weeks.
