Default duel exhaust and throddle body switch

i got a '88 f150 with the 4.9 l6 and i cannot find true duels and i have been looking for hours (and rather inexpensive) Does anybody know where i can find them.

i got the 2 hoses coming off the throddle body and i was wondering if i can switch it to a single hose. Like what vehicle i can pull one off at a junkyard, or do i just have to go in there and take a bunch off till i find one that fits. But then would i also have to open up the intake the throddle fits up to.

thanks in advance everyone

Nobody is going to make true duals, you would have to get a shop to make a custom setup for you, which would also save you lots of money.

LovetheTide is right, you will have to get a shop to make a custom setup for you. I have true duals on my 05 FX4. I have a convertor off each manifold with duals coming down under the passenger side with a Flowmaster 50 series DIDO muffler and dual pipes going out the rear of the truck. sounds great!!!

Thanks guys that sounds good, and 4 wheelin i want that setup. when i had my bmw i needed a 800 y-pipe so i went to Monroe (i think) they wouldn't do it, because of emmitions or something. So i think i will get my friend take a look at it, which would save me more money.(never even thought of that) Do ya'all think it would be good or bad if i just ran strait pipes to the mufflers and have him weld up the outsides of the cats, so it still looks like they are there, but really wouldn't be. and the reason for your answers. And i love how everyone answers questions so quickly

If you have emisions test I probably wouldn't screw with the cats, but I would replace them with Hi-Flows.

I am pretty sure we don't have emmisions test unless it is a 95 or newer. but the hi-flows would be about the same thing -thanx

just remember, you only have one cylinder bank, so unless you get really creative with a pair of headers, you cannot have TRUE duals.

Default I found a set of headers

I found a set of performance headers on ebay that would be great if i had the money to buy them. This is the first set i have been able to find. Well if anyone else was looking for a set here is the address.
