Default Directed Electronics shock sensor kit

Has anyone installed this from Directed...model 504k?
Long story short it adds a shock sensor and led arming light that ties into your stock alarm. My A/V store recommended it and it doesn't look too tough to install.

Has anyone had any experience with this at all???

I need something as I have just a little bit of audio equipment in my truck and want some added protection from the crackheads out there lol.

Well guess I'll be the guinea pig on this one. Getting it installed Friday...I'll update once I get my truck back. For the $200 installed I think it will be worth it...guess I'll see.

So how did the install go? Does it work well with the factory alarm?

You can add a shock sensor and led light to the factory alarm. There’s a ford dealer on here who sells them. Don’t know if it’s compatible with all years, but it worked, and works well, on my 17

Just picked my truck up last night and I can say it was well worth the $220 (installed price). I did a little research into the upgraded factory alarm but being up in Canada the price of the parts themselves was almost double what I paid. One thing I didn't realize was that I get a notification via the Ford app on my phone whenever the alarm is triggered...which before adding the shock sensor was never. 2 thumbs up from me!
I also am covered for up to $2500 for any damages/losses for the next 3 years, too.

Default Kn1z-19a361-a

Added KN1Z-19A361-A to my 2019 XLT. I alread had remote start via ford pass app. This was plug and play as I hoped. Didn't have to get out the forscan app as I had hoped. Using the jumper included.
