SO today upgraded tires to BFG 285/65R20 and the AFE.. now awaiting the custom tunes from 5 Star to see what happens.

Contemplating either the Catch Can, or the HeartThrob exhaust.. I know which one would be more fun, but is the Catch Can better for the truck??
It's been a few weeks now, what is your opinion on the afe magnum intake? Did you notice any performance gains? Mpg change?

With the tune it was significant but lost a lot when I went to 35 inch tires... can still feel the power gains but most of all (unlike others) I love hearing the turbos and whoosh of air..

Hi All,

I have the 2012 XLT 5.0. Purchased the Chrome version of the K&N. There are pictures of it here by someone else. Great sound and gas mileage, if I can keep my foot off it...

I have the S&B. Happy with it. I like that they provide a larger air inlet for the factory box, drawing from the fender.

I've been looking too. I'm leaning towards the Roush CAI

2013 5.0, I have a JLT CAI with blue oiled filter. Wouldn't recommend it. Felt loss of low end power. And yes I had time updated for it. The only redeeming quality is that it matches up to Boss intake manifold without modification.

I put a $150 Spectre on my 2015 5.0 because all of them are WAY Over priced and i've have all the name brands before and couldn't tell a bit of difference power or gas wise. The Spectre is IDENTICAL to the K&N same machine marks and all! Less than HALF the price! But when you floor it Good Lawd it sounds AWESOME!!!!I've NEVER had one effect the Sound kinda like an ol'Holley 4 barrel Multiplied 5 TIMES! Maybe me the Magnaflow mufflers and taking resonator off but I ran it for a year like that just installed cold air intake. Only reason I got an intake is I order a J&K Ram Air Hood that feeds air on top of it getting put on tomorrow

Default AEM CAI on '15 Ecoboost 2.7

Just installed the AEM CAI on my '15 with 2.7 ecoboost. Took about an hour and I had no issues. When I started my truck I could hear the change in exhaust tone right away. I can feel the difference. The truck wants to stay in a higher gear I assume due to a little bit more torque. I'm sure that the HP and torque gains are modest, but I like it.

I have a 2015 5.0 and are looking for a little extra power. It look like Roush is the only one who has a dyno test proving a 13HP gain. Anyone have one on a 15+ 5.0 that can give me a review of any power gains/losses they've had?
