Just added a Roush CAI to my truck. Sounds pretty good. Need to find an exhaust that will not be overly loud, but will allow some of the sound to pass through. Not into the loud, screaming exhausts now as I have had them in the past.

I have the same intake as you.I notice the Airaid is very noisey also. Did the 40 series flowmaster muffler decrease that air intake noise? Some say that muffler is noisey and drones. How loud is it?
I noticed your cold air seal is missing.

Default Banks CAI

I have read nearly all of the posts and don't recall anyone mentioning the Banks Ram-Air Intake. Anybody using one or have any knowledge of them? I have an 08 5.4L with the Banks Monster exhaust and Edge CTS. I would love better fuel economy and a few more HP wouldn't hurt either. Thanks!!

I went with a s&b cause they run it in race application and diesel truck like the poly carb view window for easy inspection also php has it as a sponsor and it widely recommended. As far as the sound. s&b uses the fender air and has a ram air intake in the front for more air flow so I think most aftermarket true cold air intakes will be
Louder due to more air flow
