I am starting this thread to get everyone who has one to post up their cold air intake preference and why. I will keep tabs on it and keep results in this post for quick reference. Give year and engine in your post. I am looking for personal expierence not what someone has heard about a certain intake. Please keep your posts limited to CAI talk.

did you buy the intake tube with your kit or just the filter and the box??? Ive read that you should keep the same tube... ???

Has anyone with the V6 ecoboost engine had issue with their CAI? I had an order in at Autoanything for the Volant CAI for my 2011 F4 and they just told me they have to cancel the order. According to the customer service rep Volant pulled all the CAI's they have for the turbo engines off the shelves. Anyone have any ideas on why they might do that?

After countless CAI and programmer tunes, i Switched to the AFE superstock intake on my 04 5.4 3v, i wish i would of got this one first. it is Not the loudest but has a nice solid feel when accelerating, ether full throttle or easing in to speed. I am very happy with this one. Haven't seen any threads or posts on the intake so if any of you were curious about it, IMO its great.

for those of you with the 5.4 and a k&n i have a question.
which factory airbox mounting studs did you put the supplied spacers on? it only comes with 2 and there are 4 studs .

I have 2012 5.0 I added the K&N series 63 kit
It was lagging accelerator punch, Now it change the whole perfromance
It just gets up and Dances now when you touch the throttle
so much I have to back off compared to before, easy to light the tires up now.
I love the Growel but now i can't hear my exhaust, so thats next Im going with Solo Performance dual side's
It was a great product to add to my truck!
