Default Can I Stand On My Bakflip?

I am wondering if it is ok to stand on my Bakflip tonneau cover? I am getting a Thule rack system for a canoe but I wont be able to put my tailgate down to put the canoe on, so I am wondering if I can put the canoe on last (after I load up my gear in the bed) and stand on the Bakflip to pull the canoe onto the front rack. I don't know which model Bakflip it actually is, as it came direct from the dealer.

Thanks!

If its a trifold it should be Atleast a g2 which means it can support 300 lbs of evenly distributed weight. Just make sure u see that it is genuinely a bak flip.

Not real sure...
I'd thought about that as well... but it is the 'evenly distributed' that gets me.

Not real sure they count 'standing' as evenly distributed.

Are you getting the Thule Sportster rack sytem or a roof rack? I'm interested in the Thule height-adjustable bed mounted racks for my kayaks, but would also like to get a hard tonneau at some point....If I understand how the racks mount to the bed rails correctly, it doesn't appear that I can have both.....

Why don't you get a Bakflip CS?
