As much as we may hate to admit it, Smokey & The Bandit did a lot to bring CB's to the masses...and then there was the movie Convoy!

I have Smokey and the bandit on DVD.

But have not seen Convoy forever !

That’s why I am a Ham Radio operator, we can use 2 meter radios pushing over 65 watts+ 😀

My call is W7TAX out here in Coos Bay, Oregon. Right now just a 2meter in the truck, working on putting in a ft857 with a nice antenna after I finish putting in spray in bed liner and such. Operate mostly on 20 meters.

Nice. I also have a 2meter, that has to go back in the truck. It's only a ICOM IC-2GAT. 73s.

I 'stuck' my little Radio Shack TRC-503 in where the shift lever used to go in this console that I swapped in replacing the jump seat.
