Cool, it's always nice to see some independent research done.

Are you going to test to difference between the sct tune and the dyno tune while you are on the dyno?

It's $125/hr for the Dyno.... If they'll comp me the Dyno time for posting the results online I will, otherwise, I can't spend the money. BTW.... My original tune was 5 Star Tune program, not SCT's.

10-4. I hear you on the money lol. I must have misread the previous conversation. I thought is was the sct with the 5 star tune on the device.

My original tune was an SCT programmer with 5Star Tune.... Then went to the HPP tune.

Looks good but loss of TQ would seal no deal for me. I had wondered about that when I saw the manifold kits on a Ford dealer web site.

The mustang has different cams and such that can utilize the intake much better than our trucks.

Results are in..... Stock intake makes more TQ & HP in the Low RPM range. The Boss and stock intake converge around 5500 RPM, then the Boss wins 5500 and above. Super happy I went back to the stock intake!!! The drivability is much better. And... I don't really feel the loss above 5500 RPM. Buts that's probably Manny's creative tuning!!! If your in the DFW area, it's worth the drive to Lewisville!! I'll post the Dyno Graphs later tonight.....
