Borla muffler swap
Hey Guys
Swapping mufflers, ordering Borla pro xs from summit. I know a bunch of guys have done it, wondering which size is easier to work with. Its 2.5 pre muffler and 3.0 post... would the 2.5 in & out be easier to mate up to stock or 3 in & out? I have exhaust expander so I'm able to make couplers. Just wondering what's worked best for others.
Thanks,
Ron

Went with si/so 2.5", Borla part #40364.
Amateur welder...
Welded at the muffler but clamped at the stock pipes, wasn't sure of id like it so didn't want to weld.
We are in wester NY so i sprayed everythjng with VHT flat black. I know the muffler is stainless but everything else would be rotted and dragging after one winter here.
Happy with it, nice deep rumble on startup and when in the throttle. Driving around town it sounds great, cruising you would think it was stock, zero drone. Overall it fits what I was after.
