Default Is The Black Wheel Fad Fading Away?

We've been seeing a lot of people say they hate the new black wheel trend. Is it a Fad or is here to stay

Do people really consider black wheels a fad?
I've always looked at black wheels similar to silver, chrome, mill finish, etc. It's just one of those standard wheel finishes.

Black, black chrome or charcoal grey for the win. Chrome is too 70's and FUGLY.

Definitely not a fad, there will always be those who are anti-chrome.

It’s my understanding that the black wheel fad started on the west coast in the 1990’s, by kids driving old Honda’s. They’d pop off the hub cap, thinking it looked “meaner”.

Black is here to stay, but more color matched and accent colored wheels are trending up.
