Default Bilstein 5100 vs Rough Country 2.5

Looking to get a leveling kit on my 2017 F150 Supercrew to fit some 18x9 Method nV wheels with some 33s. Ive seen both kits reviews on here and am torn which is better for the money and fitment. Does anyone have any advice or experience with the kits to help me with the decision.

Rancho...no adjustment and you get what you get. Some people get 3" and some less.

Bilstein 5100 you determine height. Mine st at 1 3/4 and I. got about 1.6". In my opinion, a much better option given you are installing 33s

Everyone I talk to about doing my level tries to talk me out of the Bilsteins. I'm doing a 3" Rough Country lift with 295 70 18 on Fuel Vectors next week.

Good luck! A reputable company will not sell this kit. It is a 3" leveling kit (strut spacer) with UCA. If needed, I have some CV axles to sell you in the future.

IN other words, stick to the bilsteins? He ordered the kit. I guess I could offer to pay a restocking fee since I did let him talk me into it? Damnit!

I have Bilstein 5100s. I am very happy with the performance, but everyone has to make their own risk versus gain analysis for leveling kits. The reputable manufacturers limit their products to 2.25" or smaller. Most reported CV axle problems are from owners using spacer kits greater than 2" (2.5" on the edge, 3" and above is extreme). I attached some light reading material that seems to address most problems with spacer kits. By the way, I have used both versions and will not go back to a spacer kit again.
