Default BEWARE Mcgaughy's lift kit

Took my truck to get an alignment and the guy told me he couldn't get the right side where it should be. He showed me and you can see below in my pictures where my right side strut bar goes to my cross member there is a weld in the way which cause the washer not to be able to turn enough for adjustment. on the left side the welds are only on the outside of the tabs. So i called Mcgaughy's up and sent them pictures. The guy thats weird let me go look in the shop and see how they are here and i will call you back. He calls me back to tell me that weld shouldn't be there and he will run it by the manager to see what they are going to do. After waiting hours i called him back and he says they will not send me another cross member because i have had the lift for almost a year. So let me get this straight you just told me you manufactured it wrong and you wont replace it? They told me to grind the weld away . Hmm let me just grind the powdercoat so it all peals away. Now i am waiting for the manager to call me back so i can have a few words with him

I could understand if something broke it was a year old but you already admitted you built it wrong!!!!

Did you have the lift on for over a year without aligning it? Or did have it boxed up and only recently have time to install it?

I have it on for 8 months but I have been in and out of town for work and haven't driven it much and finally had the time to dig into the problem
