Default Best cold air intake?

i have been looking around for cold air kits. i dont really want to go with a k&n or something with and open filter like that. i know everyone likes k&n, but i have seen many people dust their turbos on 6.0s due to them. i would like to know what the best intake that has high flow, but is also good. i have heard from many people that the gauze filters that are washable can lose their filtering ability of dust after washing them. i would like one with the filter element enclosed. does anyone have a volant kit. i like the look and the enclosed box. i see that many people like the aFe but thats also a cone filter. i guess i am looking for the best filtering aftermarket cold air intake.

I've narrowed mine down to the Roush cai.. Looks like the air raid.... A few guys have it with no issues..

Volant has an enclosed housing as well as bully dog..

I just bought an Airaid cai this week. I can't comment on its performance since it hasn't come in the mail yet, but I sould have installed by early next week.

I was looking Volant but saw some bad reviews that made me want to shy away from buying one myself. If you are set on getting an enclosed cai I would look at bullydog.

From everything I read online it seemed like K&N was the most popular choice, however it won't pass smog testing in CA. I went with Airaid since I found a lot of good reviews/testamonials on it.

I know you want to stay away from open filtered cai's, but its really up to the owner to maintain the part to keep the performance level high. Don't rule it out, and good luck.

I run a K&N. If I could get one the Airforce One would be my choice. Airaid is another good one. You won't get as much airflow running a Volant or AFE or any other enclosed system.

S&B is better then Roush. Way better quality. The reason S&B's products come on to market later than these other companies is because they really design the intake for the best performance and quality instead of just throwing a intake out there.
