My dad has a bedrug with his Pace Edwards cover. It does get wet here and there and its very nice to sit and chill in as well as clean.

I just purchased a '11 xlt screw, and my wife had read so many good reviews, she immediately ordered a bedtred, and I couldn't be happier. I don't carry heavy objects anymore, so I don't need a more rigid liner to protect the sides.

I emailed bedrug the other day about my 6 year old bedrug that was starting to not look so good and I lost the receipt but asked if I was still covered under their lifetime warranty. No questions asked just told me to box it up and let them know what day I want UPS to come pick it up and they will send me a new one.

A+ customer service and A+ product

Default 2x4 Dividers

I was going to buy a hard plastic liner for my new truck sice that is what I had always bought before. Also add a tonneau and ladder rack (but that is another problem I will be positing later). You guys are turning me around on the bed liner issue.
Can I still slide 2x4's or make a plywood divider system that can slide into the groves located behind the wheel wells with the BedRug or other "soft" type liners? I find I mostly haul little stuff like cans of paint, portable tool pouches, 5 gallon cans etc. I have found that such a divider is very helpful for fast retrieval without doing a belly crawl - which is getting harder as I get old.
Local shops don't carry either. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

IMO I don't think you could just slide stuff into the grooves, as they are not present once the bedrug is installed. The liner makes the bed appear "smooth" on the sides if I am explaining it right.

You could do a fabrication box though if needed. However, I spend my time at the lake and always have 5 gal fuel cans in the back for the wave runners as well as other odds and ends tought boxes. What I found to be the perfect solution is this product from Harbor Frieght...

It works great at holding things in place and doesn't permanently distort the bedrug when uninstalled. Easy enough to use as well.

Hope that helps a little!

From their website I get the impression that a BedTred is the industrial version of the BedRug.

Only had the bedrug for a couple months, so far it has been great. Was very easy to install and looks great, get a ton of compliments! I would recommend it to anyone.
