Awesome, Thanks! Yeah, they do stick out a bit, but the rack looks really sharp so i'll live with the rails. Just got off with Morie @ tonneaufactoryoutlet who explained the same thing and offered me a great deal on the combo, so hopefully i'll be getting them soon.

Do you leave your racks on or take them off? I park in a garage so i'm thinking i'll be taking them off except when I load up a kayak - are they fairly easy to remove? Just a couple allen bolts?

I leave my racks on all the time, partly due to laziness and partly due to not wanting to leave them on the garage floor. I have a taller garage (5 panel door) so I don't have to worry about height. I've never tried to drive into a parking structure so I don't know how that will work. They are pretty easy to take off. You have to take the allen bolt out of the end of each rail and then loosen the ***** to take them off. It would probably take 2-3 minutes tops.

My wife insists that I get a bed cover so we'll have some weather protection for our stuff (i.e. luggage) when we go on road trips. Security is of medium concern because I'm skeptical that the claims of security with the flip covers is all that secure to a determined thief.

My primary concern is finding a bed rack system that works easily with a bed cover. I'm aware of the Adrac + Access soft bed cover combo. I'm also aware of using a Perego and TracRac combo, though modifications need to be made to get them to work together. I like the TracRac Pro but I'm not keen on the mods.

Can you recommend any other good combinations of bed cover and bed rack?

Thank you in advance!

We (www.kbvoodoo.com) have two different options for you.

This is our Premium Bed Rack. (this is the 10" high version, we also stock this is 18" high)

This is our newest rack. It will be released in about a week.

It works with tonneau covers, and allows the cover to be fully opened while installed. Height is fully adjustable.

2 questions, will this system support a roof top tent without damaging the tonneau cover and do you offer a discount for forum members? Thanks.

What about with the tonneau cover brackets installed? Seems like the weight of a tent with 2-3 people would be a problem the way those brackets are designed. I want to run a roof top tent with my tonneau cover installed.

The brackets are very strong, it isn't a problem. Many people are already doing it.
