Awesome pictures and install. Love mine

I've got the full BedRug in mine and didn't want to put holes in it for the drain tubes so I didn't install them. Austin has had almost 18" of rain in the last month and aside from a few drops in the bed at the corners, I haven't had much water in mine at all, even without the tubes

I installed my drain tubes and curled them around and back up and into the tie downs in the corner. Just to see if they collect any water. None yet.

Love the picture. So if you need to have the top open and go down the road, how is it anchored open?

The two prop rods hold the cover open. Has anyone drove down the highway with the cover fully open?

About a month after I bought mine i needed to take a couch to my sisters house from mine in Austin to her's in the DFW area over Labor Day weekend. Almost 200 miles up there and with speeds as high as 80mph as a good 50 miles of the drive is 75 or 80mph speed limit.

No problems with it at all. It barely moved. I watched it closely on the way just to see how it would do.

I have the BakFlip VP and have driven 500km (about 300 miles) with it folded up and the plastic units the rods tuck into isn't that strong. They slide up a bit and I had to adjust them about every 2 hrs of travel.

Never had any problems running around the city with them but for Highway travel now I just take the whole unit right off as it is so simple to remove and replace.
