I'm stuck at which cover to choose. I don't like shiny painted items and I don't do any type of constuction or hard work type jobs so which would suit me best? I like the idea of no denting though.

Has Bak addressed the ease of break ins or theft with its cover? From viewing videos it seems pretty easy with a coat hanger to squeeze a coat hanger under the rear seal and unlatch the cover.

I don't think the design was meant to be theft proof although not easy to get in without an unlocked tailgate..

Default BakFactoryOutlet now TonneauFactoryOutlet.com

The rack itself slides front to back, currently its hanging in the garage as I dont plan on doing much kayaking this season.

I've since added some powdercoat black Raptor oval bars, and am thinking about adding some Weathertek mud flaps, and an Equal-i-zer hitch, only because its friggen huge.

But back to the cover. Its water tight, very water tight. I've hit it with the garden hose on high and didnt get any water in. Its also very secure, once the tailgate is locked nobody's getting in there.

Color me satisfied.

Ive talked to several guys on construction sites in the past year with G2's. Not the hardest users but they definitely work out of their trucks. Everyone had only praise for the cover.

Sorry, but I will never buy another Bakflip. I had the HD model, love the looks and functionality but they were bad leakers. The local dealer tried all kinds of tricks and installed 3 different covers. All 3 leaked like a sieve. The manufacturer was no help. I ended up getting my money back. If you are looking at a Bakflip, make sure you have a dealer that will look after any issues.

Nice! I have a G2 being installed next week... We will see how she holds up. Glad to hear your guys had praise for them.
