I'm considering doing for 4 inch tips on a 4.6l with a si/do flowmaster 40 series. I can get a kit with 3 in tips or I can get a kit w/o tips, and I was considering getting the one w/o tips and buying 2.5 inlet, 4 in outlets tips for it. Would the 4 in tips sound good on it?

they would sound fine its almost a personnal preference to tip sizes and all but going from a small pipe to bigger is gonna change the sound a little.
