Default 4" Rancho Issue 2013 FX4

I have a 2013 F150 FX4 SCREW Ecoboost With a 4" Rancho Lift. While under acceleration in deep sand I am experiencing a loud "banging" sound and it feels like the transfer case is coming through the floorboard. Took it to my dealership, put it on a lift and everything looks fine. No dents or wear marks to indicate what might be causing this. It happens in deep sand and also under throttle on turns (sliding). Any ideas on what might be causing this? Does not happen on pavement.

Mind you this is my 3rd Ecoboost, so I am familiar with normal off roading conditions and vehicle noises.

my truck does this with just a level kit. I honestly think this is normal for these trucks. happens to me in the snow, but no other time. only low traction surfaces when i try to have some fun or pull something out

Have you had your kit re-torqued? I had a clunk once while offroading.. Took it to the shop and the the suspension tightened down again.. No issues since.. Now i get my lift checked every oil change

I have not. But that's a great idea though. I'll do that next oil change for sure. A friend of mine also suggested greasing the slip yoke on the driveshaft. So I'll kill two birds with one stone.

It's part of your maintenance.. Once installed you have to take it back a few hundred miles later and have it re-torqued... Mine is free so i have no issue with waiting an extra 2-3hrs to get a full inspection done

I take that back, I took it in after my elk hunt for the couple hundred mile "inspection" not sure what they did though, but I'll make sure they re torque everything this time for sure. I've put on about 7k miles since then, guess it's past due to get it re inspected.

I had that banging sound as well. Not as bad but had it happen a few times on the freeway. Had my suspension re torqued after about 500 miles, probably going to have it re torqued every oil change.

I offroad in it quite a bit. Mostly during hunting season. It's my daily driver so I do the rough 4 wheeling in my can-am side by side. The tires do really well all around. Not as aggressive as mud tires so a little slip in the deep stuff but I rarely have to lock in the 4WD
