2016 Lithium Gray F-150 Build
Starting a little late into the build. Here are some more details on the truck:
2016 F-150 XLT FX4 Off-Road
Engine - 3.5L Ecoboost
Mods - 2.5" MotoFab Front Leveling Spacers w/ .25" wheel spacers for the front two wheels. Front Air Dam Delete (if that counts)
Tires - 35 x 12.50 x 18 Terra Grapplers - No rub with the .25" spacers installed.
I debated for a VERY long time whether or not to put on 35's of play safe with 295's. Every forum post I read said something else. I knew I wanted 2.5" level spacers, as the factory rake is 2.85ish. Maybe because these are A/T rather than M/T I get better clearance. Regardless, I had no rub on the crash bar, ONLY the Upper Control Arm. With a .25" wheel spacer, I no longer hit the control arm at full lock. NO CHOPPING whatsoever. The look to me is very raptor-esque. Large meaty tires, relatively smaller wheels, and a leveled height. City MPG has gone down about 2.5MPG. Good thing my commute is 5 miles.
If anyone has any more Lithium Gray / Leadfoot builds, please feel free to post them here! Haven't had much luck finding other lithium gray threads. Build questions welcomed.
