2002 F150 SuperCrew 4.6 - Performance mods advice
Love the truck but want my 4.6 to sound like my girls Mustang GT and add a little pep to it. Specifically would like to improve take offs. I just got tax return back and had hoped to install cold-air intake, exhaust system and a chip/programmer for $1200. Unfortunately, Uncle Sam (Obama) needed more money to support Syrian Refugees. Haha.
So Im working with about $600 instead and was hoping to complete any 2 of the performance upgrades i mentioned above... with that, I open the floor to the experts here. Whats the best ban for my $. I might be able to push it to $750. Thanks in advance for any suggestions and advice.
Im thinking I should go with a cheaper Spectra Intake upgrade and put most of the $ into the exhaust system. Then add programmer/chip later to really take advantage of the upgrades.
