1A Auto 2013 Tow Mirrors Review
Well I couldn't wait in longer for the 1A Auto Power Folding Tow Mirrors to come out and since I don't have power fold originally and really didn't want to pull another wire through my door after doing my speakers I decided to buy the Manual Fold Mirrors instead. I emailed 1A Auto first to confirm that I chose the right mirrors and they confirmed everything would work except for the puddle lights because I did not have them before. Today I received and installed them like a happy kid on christmas.

So far I think they look great! I really like the chrome caps, everything feels solid and even the puddle lights work. The puddle lights are regular incandescent bulbs which suck so I might replace those down the road with LED. Install was a breeze as long as you know how to take the door panels off which is pretty easy. Took about 45mins - 1hour to get everything apart, installed, and cleaned up. I haven't taken them on the highway or done any speed racing yet with them on but if I have any issues I'll be sure to update the review.
UPDATE:
I've now taken the truck for a fairly long drive in the rain and sun. One thing I've noticed is the drivers side mirror has a slight whistle when going above 120 KM/H or 80MP/H. Its only really noticeable when the window is down. I've contacted 1A Auto about the issue and waiting to hear back.

Haha, everyone and their dog has been asking that question. No answer as of yet but they do look really good. Until then these will make me happy.

Same pair for about a year now! Love them!
FYI, if you redo puddle lamps with LEDs, it's a different bulb than the stock Ford festoon bulb.
I ordered 31mm festoon bulbs to do the conversion but found out it's a different bulb. I haven't cut them apart to see what kind they are.

On that drivers side mirror, you may want to double check the mirror to the door to see if it's snug and no gaps (which could) be creating that sound you're hearing. Also check that chrome cap too.
If you do not get a response soon from our customer service, PM me with your phone number and I'll have one of our sales reps call you.

The customer service responded to me very quickly. They suggested that I re-mount the mirror to make sure its flush with the body of the vehicle. I've done that and made sure all three nuts are tightened fully. I just haven't had a chance yet to test it again as I'm in the process of moving. I'll check the chrome cap and once I get a chance to test it out again I'll update my comments. Thanks for the help!
